Ready for her freebies: Lindsay Lohan stops in at the Kari Feinstein Oscar gifting suite yesterday
You might think Lindsay Lohan would have had her fill of freebies. After all, she is currently in serious legal trouble for allegedly taking a necklace from an upmarket jewellery store.
But her ongoing criminal case seemed to have done little to dent her enthusiasm for a bargain yesterday as she headed to an Oscars gifting suite to load up on the free gifts.
The Mean Girls star stopped in at the Kari Feinstein Style Lounge - a pre-Oscars gifting suite that treats celebrities to free goodies.
Dressed casually in black trousers, black boots and a simple cream jumper, the 24-year-old made her first official public appearance since appearing in court last Wednesday to face charges of felony grand theft.
The event, held at the the Montage Hotel in Beverly Hills, is one of the biggest celebrity giveaways of the year and routinely draws in a host of A list stars.
They are given all sorts of treates, including wrist watches, shoes and cosmetics.
Others loading up alongside Lindsay included Paris Hilton, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Balthazar Getty and David Arquette.
Family time: The previous day Lindsay spend some quality time with her mother Dina and sister Ali
Lindsay is accused of stealing a $2500 gold and diamond necklace from a store in Venice, California last month.
The star has until her next court date on March 10, to decide if she will take a plea deal which will land her in jail for six months or go to trial and face a jury.
If she chooses the latter and is found guilty she faces up to three years in state prison.
However Lindsay seems relaxed, despite her legal woes, and was spotted enjoying some time with her family on Thursday.
Accompanied by her mother Dina and her sister Ali, Lindsay stopped by her local Whole Foods grocery store to pick up some lunch.
