Looking feline: Pixie Lott wears 'cat ears' headband as she lunches at the Urth Caffe in Los Angeles on Monday
Pixit Lott is clearly a huge fan of the feline theme, having nicknamed her fans 'crazy cats' and even naming her first UK tour after the animal.
And it looked like she was taking the theme even further as she popped out to lunch in Los Angeles wearing a pair of cat's ears.
The 20-year-old singer stood out from the crowd in an unusual ensemble of white blouse, leather jacket, short shorts, knee-high socks and tan loafers.
Accompanied by a group of friends, the Mama Do star headed into one of LA's trendy branches of the Urth Caffe for lunch.
She was carrying her laptop wrapped in a green sweater - perhaps containing copies of her latest tracks.
The Essex-native has been in Los Angeles for over a month recording the follow-up to her double-platinum selling 2009 debut album Turn It Up.
She has been working with some top producers and songwriters, including Dallas Austin and Toby Gadd.

Writing on her Twitter last weekend, she enthused: 'So excited about new tracks for the new album. Can't wait for you to hear them. Love you and miss you all.'
She has been visited by her model boyfriend Oliver Cheshire, 22, who she has been dating since last August.
Following a role in teen film Fred: The Movie last year, Lott is hoping to break the United States and has been spending increasing amounts of time Stateside.
Lott is set to follow up her debut film with a starring role in UK movie Sweet Baby Jesus, with Bette Midler, Robbie Coltrane and Sean Brosnan.
The comedy, slated for release this year, stars Pixie as 'a pregnant girl named Mary who goes back to Bethlehem Maryland at Christmas time.'
